During this afternoon of flavors, participants are invited to taste succulent and sizzling bites from custom menus featuring local vendors from both national and international backgrounds. Vendors include Hellenic Kitchen, Cambodia’s Best, Niyat Catering, Oga Suya, The Whole Almond, Bap LLC, Loon Coffee Co., and more! Gluten-free, dairy-free, halal, and vegan options will be available.
In addition to sampling delectable foods, entrants can enjoy curated libations, an art installation by the residents and staff of the Portland Housing Authority, and live DJ sets by multiple artists, including Sergio Cahueque of WMPG’s Our Latin Thing.
Attendees will also have the chance to win a raffle basket with awesome local prizes. One raffle ticket is included with entry.
Entry to the event is $10 for a one-hour session, with all ticket sales going to support community programming at Mayo Street Arts. Each taste is only $5, paid directly to each vendor. Debit/credit cards will be accepted — cash is preferred to help these independent vendors avoid fees!
