An energetic individual who ensures our kitchens run smoothly by maintaining a safe, clean, and friendly work environment for our members. You are able to work independently, without direct supervision and take ownership of the environment in which you work. You are empowered to make things right.

Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting members and checking them into stations
  • Checking equipment in and out, as needed by members
  • Supporting members by maintaining kitchen cleanliness; may include dish and equipment cleaning and general cleaning like sweeping, mopping, maintaining the restrooms and handling trash/recycling
  • Working to uphold health and safety regulations in accordance with local, state and federal law by following standard operating procedures and policies
  • Guiding members in observing kitchen policies and procedures
  • Receiving product from external vendors on behalf of members
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in shared storage spaces
  • Checking members out of stations and verifying station cleanliness after each use
  • Completing daily logs and checklists for temperature and cleanliness
  • Addressing member needs as they arise throughout your shift

Your skills and experience should include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Work experience in a kitchen or sanitation role

  • Work experience in a customer facing role, preferred

  • Basic knowledge of food safety or food safety certificate, where required

  • Ability to communicate clearly and thoughtfully with our members

  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and be actively on your feet for an eight hour shift

  • Knowledge of facility maintenance a plus!

COMMUNITY COORDINATOR

You love organizing and hosting events.

Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Greeting

  • Greeting all members and guests as they enter the space

  • Answering and directing inbound communication - phone, email and mail

  • Answering “walk-up” questions from membership and visitors

  • Monitoring inbound and outbound mail

Member Management & Events

  • Managing co-working check-in and check-out

  • Being active on the Pilotworks Digital member network

  • Solving member-related issues to ensure a cohesive community

  • Working on community initiatives designed to develop connections between members, including member introductions, event support, email and print communications

  • Helping announce & promote events and track RSVP’s

  • Assisting with set-up and breakdown of events, including ordering food and beverages

  • Assisting with inventory management for and running Farmers Market tables

  • Assisting with online ordering systems, running and promoting

 Community Space

  • Assisting with move-ins and move-outs; prepare and distribute member welcome packets

  • Assisting with unit operations and facilities to ensure highest level of member experience:

    • Fielding and assigning requests submitted through Essets for community space

    • Ensuring the community space is clean and well-kept

    • Ordering consumables and office supplies for community space

Supporting your Unit Ops Team in…

  • Creating a welcoming and collaborative community environment amongst our members through events and building relationships between members

  • Ensuring that the community and co-working areas and processes are running smoothly

  • Drive growth and promotion of Pilotworks-provided service offerings like co-working

  • Take direction from the General Manager to support the Unit Team as necessary

Your skills and experience should include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Work experience in an office setting

  • Work experience in a customer facing role

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills

  • Ability to be on your feet for an eight hour shift

  • Passion for entrepreneurial communities

  • Proficient in basic computer skills and G-Suite
