Job Summary

The Kitchen Supervisor is in the center of all daily operations at Fork Food Lab. The Kitchen Supervisor  is focused on details, execution, cleanliness, organization, positive customer interactions, staying on task in the hubbub of day-to-day operations as well as strategies to improve kitchen operations. Food Safety and customer service is at the core of the Kitchen. 

Must be passionate about food safety, highly organized, a rock start at multitasking in a chaotic kitchen atmosphere and enjoy working with many different companies and needs.

General member support/Customer service

  • Equipment maintenance schedule and logging

  • Monitoring all activities in the kitchen and equipment

  • Operational efficiencies and improvements

  • Scheduling Kitchen Staff Hours

  • Training new employees in operations and food safety 

  • Deep cleaning of equipment in the kitchen & schedule to complete

  • Daily cleaning list 

  • Emptying trash/recycling/compost

  • Assist in on site events as needed

  • Enforcing kitchen code of conduct with members 

  • Shipping and receiving packages and communicating changes or issues with members

  • Updating member reservations & assisting in making reservations

  • New member orientations


  • 2+ years experience in a commercial kitchen

  • ServSafe Manager Certification

  • Strong communication skills

  • Flexible Schedule

  • High school diploma/GED

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds


Kitchen & Events Assistant

Job Summary

We are looking for a super star at customer service who can represent both Fork Food Lab and all the various companies products at markets and events. A passion for food is  a must! This position will also have hours in the kitchen dealing will all daily operations as well as helping to coordinate events, inventory and participation.

-Attending and running Markets and Events in Portland and surrounding areas
-Assist in facilitating on site events
-Assist with marketing and promoting events
-Managing POS and bank for events
-Deep cleaning of equipment in the kitchen
-Routine sweeping and mopping of floors
-Emptying trash/recycling/compost
-Assist in the operation of private parties
-Sanitize member tables
-Enforcing kitchen code of conduct with member companies
-Shipping and receiving packages
-Updating member reservations
-General member support

-Ability to lift 50 pounds
-Ability to travel and bring equipment
-Strong communication skills
-Schedule flexibility

-High school diploma/GED
-Prior customer service experience
